This project was a Design-Build Project to construct a home for comprehensive primary health care services to low-income individuals in Clark County. Specific attention is directed at reaching low-income, uninsured, under-insured, medicaid/medicare and populations with special health care needs, as this is not readily available currently in the county.
The project goal was to provide primary care capacity, expand health center services, promote economic recovery and serve as a regional example of an environmentally-wise medical operation. The design meets LEED Silver criteria although is not certified.
The 42,400 square foot two-story plus basement facility serves additional patients, improve operational efficiency and enhance quality of care. The building houses 25 medical and behavioral exam rooms, 9 dental operatories, provider offices and nursing stations.
