Catholic Central Addition
Springfield, OH
The project consists of $5.8 million worth of additions to Springfield Catholic Central High School. The construction is divided into two phases and two separated construction staging areas to accommodate the needed program functions for the 2014 school year and minimize impact to school operations and student activities. Phase I provided (15) additional day lit classrooms to nurture 21st century teaching and learning, a computer and digital training lab, an art classroom for traditional and new mediums, a multipurpose/large function room and a weight and physical training room. A new contemporary building entries was provided for the gymnasium and new parking areas in conjunction with a comprehensive security upgrade. The Phase II chapel addition is dynamically integrated into the new front entry and symbolically reinforces the school’s founding mission of faith and education.
