Job Description: The Entry Level Architect position seeks newcomers to the field who are recent college graduates, have recently completed an internship program with an architecture firm, and/or are otherwise seeking to begin a career in the field of architecture and working toward becoming a licensed, practicing architect. The Entry Level Architect will report to and assist staff architects and project managers as requested. The role will involve responsibility for projects as assigned by the firm according to need. The Entry Level Architect will ensure that the needs of the firm’s clients are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Job Responsibilities for the Entry Level Architect will include: developing and preparing architectural designs; drafting; preparing sketches and concepts which lead to the completion of construction drawings and specifications; preparing cost estimates; scheduling; using industry wide software and protocols in accordance with applicable building codes; conducting research and preparing reports; ensuring compliance with applicable environmental and safety regulations; and participating in on-site construction administration.

Required Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
